Steve Job Epic Wifi Fail at WWDC10 Keynote Video

Now even though Steve was unable to get his keynote working right; he handled it like a pro and everyone there at the convention project  no worries towards Steve while the mishap was happing (Or maybe because most of them are sheep and Jobs is like a God to many them.) The only thing I worry about is Jobs going into the back after the Keynote and  cutting heads off after that demo flopped.

Forget about upgrading to iOS4 and come get some Froyo.

Just about everyday we hear about Android devices getting ports of Froyo ever since the file was leaked for everyone.  Even though we’ve known about the iPhone’s ability to run Android through Linux for a while now, we thought it’d be the last device to see Froyo in any form. It Still have some bugs in it to work out but it works.

Prerequisites:

  • OpeniBoot installed on your iPhone.
  • Download this archive and place it on the desk.
  • Phoneview or Cyberduck installed on your computer.
  • Packages afc2add or OpenSSH installed through Cydia.

Transferring files on the iPhone

  1. Open Phoneview or Cyberduck and position in the path / Private / var and transferred all the files in the archive you downloaded it;
  2. Now create a new folder in path / Private / var and name Firmware.
  3. Download this new archive and place the files inside the firmware folder.

Installation Openiboot:

  1. Download this file, unzip it and place it on your desktop.
  2. Put your device in recovery mode: turn off the device and connect to the computer while holding down the Home button until iTunes recognizes the device (alternatively you can use RecBoot, Much faster and easier to use).
  3. Launch Terminal and type the following commands in sequence:

    cd Desktop
    CD Installer
    sudo. / loadibec openiboot.img3
  4. Three symbols appear on the screen of the device: move to the second with the power button, and press the Home button on the top. Wait until it displays ‘Welcome to OpeniBoot‘.
  5. Move back to your Terminal and type this command: . / Oibc.
  6. Put the device in recovery mode but this time hold down Home and Power until you see the classic iTunes logo with the cable screen. Close iTunes on your Mac and move to the Terminal.
  7. From terminal, press Ctrl and C together.
  8. Re-enter by writing OpeniBoot sudo. / loadibec openiboot.img3. Without this, the three symbols appear again. This time, do not hit the Home button.
  9. On the terminal, while remaining in the Installer folder, type. / Oibc and do not press Enter.
  10. Navigate to OpeniBoot and click on Home, then on the terminal type the command . / Oibc. Wait till you see ‘Welcome to OpeniBoot‘, Type install Terminal and wait till your iPhone 3Greboots

Is This Sony Ericsson New Play?

The guys over at Engadget just posted news about Sony’s new mobile device. To leak some mobile news like this just might be perfect timing. What we have here is supposedly a Sony Ericsson smartphone, which is reported to have a five-inch screen with a slide-out keyboard similar  to HTC Shift or HD Touch Pro.

The word is this is a prototype. So take this news with a grain of salt, but the tipster of this rumor says that this is running on Android 2.1 and that Sony just started working on this project.

We can only hope they are dropping the X10 Time-scape UI and stick with the Android’s Os Vanilla UI which can be upgradeable later on to even better New Froyo 2.2 UI. Not that I hate time-scape UI I’am becoming tired of the Fragmentation in Android Os. Some examples below…

Sony Android Remix;

Google Nexus One Running Froyo 2.2;

Sony just give us  the PSP Phone already. Well all know you want to, Sony. We already saw this with the Satio.

Sony already has the ecosystem in place. With its own line of Vaio PC’s, MediaGo Desktop Software , the PlayStation 3 with PSN  Network already set up for it.

Even if its not the PSP Phone . They have the ecosystem and resources to really make a killer phone.

What are your thoughts on this? do you think Sony has what it takes to take on Apple and HTC? Let us know.
